2020 Valentine Banquet
“The Early Late Night Show”

(Doors Open at 5:15 PM) 
Buy your tickets from any FBC Youth (or at the church office). Tickets are $15 each and all the proceeds make it possible for our youth to attend retreats, camps and mission experiences throughout the year! This year’s banquet will include guest band, Black Coffee, and will feature a menu of Crunchy Salad, Tenderloin, Party Potatoes, Green Beans, Yeast Rolls and Dessert.There will also be a dessert auction during the event — Yum Yum!

February 26-April 8 — Lenten Community Worship Services at Aldersgate UMC, 12:00 -12:30 PM each Wednesday during Lent.

April 5 — Palm Sunday Worship featuring children’s palm processional and the Sanctuary Choir singing, The Weeping Tree, 9:30 AM

April 10 — Good Friday Prayer Experience:  Self-paced prayer time in the Sanctuary to guide your reflection upon the death of Christ!  Hot cross buns will be available following your prayers in the Welcome Center.  10 AM – 2 PM, 5 -7 PM.

April 11  Egg Hunt at Thompson Garden in Shelby City Park on Sumter Street with a light lunch and a empowered devotion for children about the meaning of Easter.  11:00 AM

April 12 — Easter Sunday Celebration — He is Risen!  9:30 AM

Women's Paint Fellowship

Truth Be Told Art is an inspirational painting event that can be enjoyed by all generations as the group follows the instructor step-by-step through a boutique-style design. Ladies from our church enjoyed this paint fellowship on November 14, 2019 as they celebrated Scripture by painting it for display in their homes.

Greatest Treat Festival 2019

We were thankful to partner with the churches of the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association to be the face of Jesus’ love and grace during a week known for spooks and sorrow.

Greatest Treat Festival -- October 28, 2018

With our sister churches of the Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association we enjoyed a festival at Shelby City Park with games, food, bouncy houses, trunk or treat and a good news message about the Greatest Treat there ever has been!   Click below for video highlights of the day.

Earth Day 2017 -- Community Garden Plot

Our Community Garden Plot for 2017 was planted on April 22.  As the garden grows throughout the summer, folks from the neighborhood are invited to harvest the vegetables for use at their homes!

The Tale of the Three Trees

Our HeartSong Children’s Choir sang the musical version of the Tale of the Three Trees on May 7, 2017…..”We all have dreams we dream in our lives.  We pray that our dreams will lead us to Jesus and his desire for our lives.”
